Emmie Carpenter has a Bachelor’s degree in biology and a Master’s Degree in Secondary Science Education. After college she worked as a research scientist studying Alzheimer’s and asthma but soon realized she enjoyed people much more than mice and rats. Since the start of her teaching career in 2004 she has taught a plethora of courses such as biology, microbiology, chemistry and genetics but her true passion lies in biomedical sciences.
She is the Project Lead the Way, Biomedical Sciences instructor for Endeavor and Watertown High School and she thoroughly enjoys watching her students learn about why the human body is so incredible.
Outside of school, she enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter. Her family enjoys hiking, movie nights, game nights, and simply being together.
