Beth earned an Associate of Arts and Science degree from the University of Wisconsin-Rock County, a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Education from Beloit College, a Master of Education and Professional Development degree from UW-La Crosse, and a Doctorate in Teacher Leadership from Walden University. She is certified to teach grades 6-12 History, Geography, and Broadfield Social Studies. Beth also holds certifications from National Geographic, Mindful Schools, the New Teacher Institute, the Safe Zone Project, and Youth Mental Health First Aid.

A teacher since 1996, Beth was drawn to Endeavor’s student-centered, inquiry- and project-based approach. She loves working with students as they follow their interests, set goals, reflect on their learning, and celebrate the pride they feel after accomplishing a challenging task or completing a project. She also really enjoys facilitating community-building activities and Friday Challenges!

When she is not teaching or planning lessons and activities, Beth enjoys reading, listening to live music, boating, and relaxing by the lake with her husband and her dog Dexter.
